Su got scared of piercing.

Yesterday the girls and I decided to go and get our eras pierced at this tiny shop in the university campus which is famous for painless piercing. And the guy is really good.
Sadly, Sancho's mom didn't allow her, on account of her already sporting 2 holes in her ears. So me and Su went forward and visited the little shop which was already overflowing with students getting more pierced on their eyebrows, ears , inside the ears and all. One particular girl stood out for wearing 16 pairs of rings in total. Her left ear was half pierced already and she came to him to get the hole thing holed! A mesh according to me.
I stuck my head in the huddle and chose my studs and went to get pierced, pretty uneventful but he after effect pleased me and now i have three holes punched in each ear. And this was the time Su decided to chicken out from the whole thing after watching a feisty teenager wince on getting a stud on the inside of her ear.
We started walking towards McDonalds as we had to kill time before Sancho met us when Su decided to go for it, We walked back to shop which was still crowded, after waiting for few minutes, su once again got the pre-piercing jitters and we walked away.
Now sitting comfortably at McD's, we were chomping away on our burgers when Su once again, in a fit off adrenaline decided to go for it and we ran towards the shop before she changed her mind. We pushed past the huddle and got her in first. She stood, in fear of the tiny needle "hole-ing" her and in a second it was all over. She didn't feel a think! Great job!
My Ear! I Luv it!!
Later on we walked the streets of Janpath and CP buying odd stuff from purses to posters and a lot of studs for our newly holed ears! Sancho wanted a dress that the guy claimed to be from a famous Spanish label and no amount of haggling would get the price down she left, a disappointed person.
CP was streaming with some tourists wearing funny clothes, some fashionable and then there were the drop dead gorgeous tourists.Ah! we had a fun time, watching them as we did on troubling the shopkeepers(We very pleasantly told the some tourists the real price of the item they wanted before the shopkeeper could quote an absurdly high price!) And yes, we were glared at by the shopkeeper and his cronies and we made our way out fast!

Free Garlic Bread

Dominoes service has been deteriorating lately, with home delivery, which is perpetually late and customer care people on phone, who’d rather be chatting and gossiping with each other.
So yesterday when I and Bhai stood at the counter to place our orders, he made an observation that Dominoes looked over employed! And it did! There were loads of blue uniformed people inside the kitchen frolicking away in their pizza gossip and chatter. The one taking the order thought it was fun to chat with his other friend on the next phone and ignore the customers, so here we stood waiting to place our orders as over-zealous party poopers argued over the best possible discount they could get.
After much pushing and jostling and trying to get the man’s attention, we placed our orders and left to hunt for Pepsi. Returning a half an hour later, our order was still not ready and when we inquired, they suddenly got off to a start and started making our pizza then. So we were late and really pissed off by then.
As we stood arguing over the time limit and whether we should complain or not, I guessed they heard us and in an instant we were presented with a box of the cheesiest garlic bread-sticks. Chomping away as we waited, the idiots finally decided to give us our pizzas and we left.
This got me thinking on the unprofessional attitude of these places where they are so overtly confident that customers would wait for them and give in to their whims and fancies. It is plainly annoying.

Why Ranbir Kapoor is losing female respect.

Poor Ranbir Kapoor has found himself in a soup of his own making. A known womanizer and celebrated playboy, his antics left him red faced recently when a couple of his exes decided to come together and bad mouth him at Karan Johar’s Talk show few weeks back.
Koffee with Karan, few weeks ago was full of hilarity and much bitterness as Deepika Padukone made slight comments on Ranbir’s lascivious ways. Just a week before, the media was rife with Ranbir’s list of girlfriends and his apparent “handling” of them all, so it came as a much relief to the feminine me to see Deepika retaliate this way.
The kapoor family has always been notorious for playing with women with the legendary filmmaker, Raj kapoor leading the roost. Following in the his grandfather’s footsteps is Ranbir whose famous conquests include Avantika(Imran Khan’s fiancĂ©e), Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif.
Some months ago, the relationship of Deepika and Ranbir sizzled all over with pics of them in a lip-lop a rage in the town. So while Ranbir had no qualms with PDA with his girlfriend and discussing his private life in the public, it comes as a surprise that he is annoyed at Deepika’s comments now. When they could flaunt their “love”, it’s almost natural that a broken hearted Deepika would pass bitter comments.
As a ring leader of women nursing their broken hearts and not afraid of speaking out aloud, I like Deepika’s way of coming up front and declaring to the whole world what Ranbir exactly is. He sure has lost a lot of female respect in these days.
Another person, losing respect these days is Ranbir’s father Rishi kapoor who is angry at the verbal attacks on Ranbir and has refused to work with Karan Johar ever again.
Poor Mr. Johar is caught up in the messy break-up situation.
Break Ke Baad. Doesn’t seem like a good thing, Does it?

Shopping and sleeping

1st Dec..!! The date with the most birthdays..!!
And topping the list is my Mom.!!!!!!
This time, Dad is in Kalimpong and Mom is here, so I was rudely woken up by my cell phone blaring at 6 in the morning(when I had slept at 2, it was offensive, to say the least). It was dad calling on my cell to scold us for not wishing Mom at the earliest(We were blissfully sleeping!!!!). Taking in the reproach, I shut my cell and once again succumbed to the illicit pleasure of a blanket in the chilly wintry morning.
As we woke up at normal human time, we presented Mom with our gift(something we had spent hours looking for in the mall yesterday) and then it was time for my mom;' shopping.
Imagining it to be a pleasurable trip in the mall, I was shocked to know that we were going for plain old grocery shopping(ewww!). It was a ghastly experience(as usual) in the Taurus Canteen, which has achieved new levels of "sucking". Me and my cousin pushed the dilapidated trolleys through the roads and the pathways and it was a good arm workout(Looking on the brighter side!). The canteen was was a mess with items strewed all over, old people running amok and crazy females in coats trying to break the line!
After hours of trudging along, the torture ended and we came home for a homely lunch as my poor cousin took in the role of a coolie, carrying all the bags up.
Then the three of us settled in the living room, darkened it and then sat on the couch to watch the Social network again, chomping on goodies that we had whisked from the cupboard.
And then it stuck! The damn migraine again which had been annoying me for the past two days. so I had to abandon my place on the couch and retreat into the darkness and warmth of my room to sleep it off.Something which becomes an arduous task as my head beats from inside and every sound and movement is magnified 100 times.
And now I am awake, waiting for another set of cousins to come and eat the delicious chocolate cake in the fridge!
